Heritage Skills Weekend at Wolcott Mill Metropark
From time to time, here at thesurvivalnut.com, we post information about events that may be of interest to our local readership.
This is one of those events!
The 2nd Annual Heritage Skills Weekend will feature blacksmithing, old-fashioned carpentry, rope-making, weaving, bow making, and more…
Wolcott Mill is located in southeastern Michigan, approximately one hour north of Detroit.
The great thing about events like this one is that people with diverse philosophies can share common interests, meet each other, and network within their communities.
Whether your interest is survivalism (no “Holnists,” please), “prepping,” outdoor skills, traditional skills, pioneer history, Michigan history, nature, or a related subject, you will find this weekend worthwhile.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015 and Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 1000 am to 400 pm. The cost is $5 per person (at the door).
